every year United Nations decide the theme for the International day of forests and for this year the theme is Forests and Sustainable Cities
every year many countries celebrate this day by means of doing many recognition programmes and every country is making many efforts for making global green again. if we talk about India in 2017 there's a growth by means of 1% of forests and currently, India has 21.5% of forests from the total area the government has decided a target to achieve 33% by 2030.
If we look out for its benefits then there may be a decrease of 8°c temperature and this will help us to decrease the use of Air conditioners by 30%. 80% trees and animals are situated in the forests, so for the proper balancing on the earth, we need to Protect Forests to keep animals away from entering in the cities and keeping the world green.
the decrease of forest area is very dangerous for the whole world because there is an increase of 20% in greenhouse gases in recent years, avg 1.3 crore hectares area from the forest is getting destroyed every year and this is causing unbalancing in weather and environment.
for keeping the world greener and balanced we need to get serious about saving the forests
let's take a promise to ourselves on International Day of Forests to protect our forests and for protecting our world.
